Jalandhar: Famous Sufi singer and former MP Hansraj Hans’ life has been hit by a mountain of sorrow. His wife Resham Kaur passed away on Wednesday after a long illness. She was 60 years old and was suffering from heart disease for some time. Her death has sent a wave of grief in the music world and political circles.
What happened?
Resham Kaur was being treated at Tagore Hospital in Jalandhar, where she breathed her last at around 2 pm. According to family members, she had a heart attack. Her brother Paramjit Singh said that she was admitted to the hospital for the last five days and family members were with her.
Funeral today
Resham Kaur’s last rites will be performed on Thursday (today) at 11 am in her hometown Safipur village. She is survived by her husband Hansraj Hans and two sons Yuvraj Hans and Navraj Hans.
