FIR registered against maid
According to a Times Now report, Neha Malik lives in a building called Adani Heights in the Char Bungalow area of Andheri West, Mumbai. Her mother Manju Malik also lives in the same house with her. In February 2025, she hired a maid named Shahnaz at her house.
The theft took place when Neha’s mother had gone to the Gurudwara for some work and Shahnaz was alone in the house.
Maid disappeared with jewelry
Shahnaz did not come to work the next day. When Neha’s mother called her repeatedly, she did not pick up the phone. When the cupboard was searched on suspicion, the jewelry kept in it was found missing. Neha Malik usually kept her jewelry in a pouch in an open wooden drawer, which Shehnaaz had seen earlier as well.

The incident was reported to Amboli police station. Based on the complaint, the police registered an FIR and started investigation. Within a few days, the police arrested Shehnaaz and during the search, jewelry worth Rs 34 lakh was recovered from her.
