Drake’s Viral Goth Baddie Reveals a Dramatic New Look After Ditching Signature Makeup

Drake’s “Goth Baddie” has shown fans a side of herself they weren’t quite used to seeing.

Pinkchyu, the influencer who became widely known after winning Drake’s viral 20-v-1 dating challenge, recently swapped her trademark dark makeup and gothic wardrobe for a much softer look during a livestream with fellow creator N3on.

The transformation quickly caught attention online, largely because Pinkchyu herself admitted that she barely recognized the person looking back at her.

During the livestream, N3on and Pinkchyu decided to switch styles. While N3on was given the full goth treatment, Pinkchyu removed her usual heavy makeup and appeared in a bright, baby-pink outfit that was almost the complete opposite of her familiar aesthetic.

“I genuinely didn’t recognize myself,” Pinkchyu later wrote while reacting to a clip from the stream.

Pinkchyu’s Natural Look Surprised Even Her

Pinkchyu’s online image has become closely associated with black clothing, dramatic makeup and a distinctly gothic appearance.

That is part of what made her transformation so noticeable.

Instead of the dark aesthetic fans had become accustomed to, she appeared with a much more natural look. N3on clearly approved of the change, telling her that she looked “fire,” according to reports from the livestream.

Pinkchyu, however, seemed less convinced at first.

She explained that she felt more like herself in her usual style and described herself as being naturally “pretty tomboy.” The contrast between the two looks quickly became one of the most discussed moments from the stream.

But rather than treating the experiment as a one-time joke, Pinkchyu later seemed to consider whether she might show that side of herself more often.

On September 25, she shared a photograph on X with the question: “Should I do a natural look more often?”

The response was largely encouraging, with followers telling her that she looked good with or without the gothic makeup.

How Pinkchyu Became Drake’s “Goth Baddie”

Pinkchyu’s sudden rise in attention began in August when she appeared on Drake’s 20-v-1 speed-dating livestream on Kick.

She ultimately won the competition, beating 19 other women to get a date with the rapper.

One of the moments that helped make her particularly memorable was when she challenged Drake to bark for her. He actually did it, creating one of the most widely shared clips from the stream.

Since then, interest in Pinkchyu has gone far beyond that original livestream.

Her connection with Drake has continued to fuel speculation, although neither has publicly confirmed that they are officially dating.

When TMZ recently asked Pinkchyu about the status of their relationship, she avoided giving a direct answer, saying that her friends knew the situation and were telling her not to reveal anything.

She Also Inspired Drake’s New Look

Pinkchyu’s influence on Drake hasn’t stopped with their dating-show appearance.

The pair reunited for Drake’s FOMO short film, where they appeared together in a segment set to his song “Princess.” The two were shown walking through a mall before visiting Hot Topic, where Pinkchyu helped Drake embrace a full emo-inspired makeover.

Drake ended up wearing an all-black outfit, baggy pants, boots and a spiked choker — a noticeable departure from his usual style.

So while Pinkchyu recently experimented with moving away from her signature goth appearance, Drake has seemingly gone in the opposite direction.

The Goth Look Has a Personal Story Behind It

Pinkchyu has also explained why the gothic aesthetic became such an important part of her identity.

During another livestream with N3on, she revealed that she grew up in a religious family and that adopting goth fashion as a teenager was partly an act of rebellion. She has said that her uncle was a pastor, making the contrast between her upbringing and her eventual style even more significant.

That makes her recent makeover more interesting than simply changing clothes for a livestream.

The dark aesthetic that made her famous wasn’t just an internet costume. It developed from her own experiences and became part of the persona that audiences now instantly associate with Pinkchyu.

Is Pinkchyu Leaving Her Goth Style Behind?

Not necessarily.

Her natural-look experiment appears to have been more about showing fans another side of herself than announcing the end of her gothic persona.

In fact, the attention surrounding the transformation may have given Pinkchyu even more control over how people see her. She can keep the dramatic goth style that made her recognizable while also showing that there is more to her appearance and personality than one particular aesthetic.

For now, though, the internet seems happy to see both versions.

Pinkchyu’s latest makeover has given fans another reason to talk about the influencer who went from a relatively unknown creator to one of the most recognizable faces associated with Drake’s recent livestream era.

And judging by her own question about whether she should embrace the natural look more often, this may not be the last time fans see her switch things up.
