Vinay became a victim of terrorist attack just a few days after marriage
26-year-old Vinay Narwal got married on 16 April 2024. After marriage, he went to Kashmir on honeymoon with his wife. But who knew that this trip would become the last journey of his life. Vinay lost his life in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
Viral video made the country emotional
In the viral video, Vinay is seen smiling with his arms outstretched in the style of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan, while his wife Himanshi is hugging him from behind. Both are seen dancing to a romantic song. It is being described as his “last video” on social media.
Wife Himanshi gives a proud farewell message
Vinay’s wife Himanshi, who hails from Gurugram and is currently pursuing her PhD, gave her husband a final farewell by saluting him at the Delhi airport. She said:
“We are proud of him. May his soul rest in peace. We will always make him feel proud. Jai Hind!”
Vinay – a dedicated and cheerful officer
Vinay Narwal joined the Indian Navy in 2022 and was serving in the Southern Naval Command in Kochi for the last one and a half years. His colleagues said that Vinay was always cheerful, disciplined and completely dedicated to his duties. His martyrdom has shaken the entire country.
